Sludge Music is not only our life, it's our passion. We are dedicated to sludge metal music and culture. It drives us to sludge through life, one riff at a time. As sludge enthusiasts we immerse ourselves in SLUDGE LIFE so that we can honestly bring you the best of sludge metal.

Sludge has been our passion since the 1990's. In 2014, we formed our stoner rock band NINE LAYERS DEEP. In 2016 we launched SLUDGE LIFE  with Internet Ideators digital agency, giving birth to the Home of Sludge Metal Music. 

NINE LAYERS DEEP is synonymous with SLUDGE LIFE. However, we operate as separate entities. 

Starting as a band known as Nine Layers Deep, our passion for stoner rock music evolved into an outlet for rockers across the globe to share a common interest of sludge culture.

Sludge Life is a website for Sludge Metal enthusiasts to connect and grow. We're also a digital home for Nine Layers Deep fans to keep tabs on their favorite sludge band. 

Nine Layers Deep brings the best of the metal sludge scene to Sludge Life. We feature bands like ours, content, news, updates, and more.

Our passion, dedication, drive and honesty are what makes Nine Layers Deep. Our Sludge values, Sludge riffs and rhythms, and Sludge hard work fosters the Home of Sludge. 

Our connections with a team of Sludge inspectors around the US report back to us about all aspects of Sludge Life, from fashions and trends to bands, shows and tours. These incredibly smart and experienced under-achievers, given a motivating atmosphere, and a lot of passion for metal sludge, fuels this site. Everyone involved in Sludge Life understands and believes this vision, which makes Nine Layers Deep more than just another Sludge band.
